Minor illnesses and injuries are never convenient. Fortunately, getting care for them is.

SVMC’s ExpressCare offers walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages, seven days a week. We offer no-appointment care, including on-site tests and x-rays, when and where you need it.

Virtual Waiting Room

March 10, 2025: ExpressCare's Virtual Waiting Room number is experiencing a temporary outage. You can still access it by calling the main number at 802-440-4077.

You can check in for an ExpressCare visit from the comfort of home or your car. If an urgent medical need requires walk-in care, take advantage of ExpressCare’s virtual waiting room by calling: 802-447-5000. Patients are added to the waiting room list and sit in their car, or nearby. You’ll receive a text  alert when a provider is available for your in-person visit.

Common conditions treated include:

• Colds and flu
• Eye and ear infections
• Pulled, strained, and sprained muscles
• Cuts, scrapes, and lacerations
• Bites, stings, and rashes
• Broken bones

ExpressCare also provides:

• Visit-related lab testing and X-ray
• Some vaccinations, including TDAP and Tetanus (Call for details.)
