Volunteers are an integral part of the SVMC community. Our many dedicated volunteers, in positions across the health system and in the community, learn valuable skills and make lifelong friends. From students seeking important resume-building experiences and a peek at the health care system, to those past retirement looking to give back to their community, each volunteer contribution is valued and celebrated.

If you have a passion to serve or believe strongly in our mission, you may be a good candidate for volunteering at SVMC.

Ways To Get Involved:

As an SVMC Lobby Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact that many patients and visitors have upon entering the hospital. You will welcome and greet patients and visitors, escort them to their destinations, and provide reassuring guidance and information. This assistance can help to make a stressful visit pleasant and enjoyable.
