Southwestern Vermont Health Care Foundation's Vision 2020, a Decade of Transformation Capital Campaign is a multi-phased project to renovate and expand the Emergency Department and front entrance to the hospital, and construct a new Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center on the health system’s main campus.

The first phase of the project is complete, which includes the opening of the new Kendall Emergency Department, the Richard and Pamela Ader Foundation Lobby, and Marro Café.

Work on the final phase of the Kendall Emergency Department renovation will be complete by summer 2024.
