SVMC Internal Medicine

Advocating for your long-term health and well-being

At SVMC Internal Medicine, our commitment to caring for our patients — from young adults to senior citizens —  begins with compassionate listening and clear communication. Treating patients 18 years and older, our physicians and associate providers integrate a patient-centered approach to primary care with advanced technology and exceptionally high standards. We’ll get to the root of your symptoms and provide the testing, treatment and care you need, all under one roof.

Recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home, we provide a new model of personal, efficient, and effective primary care. We have a community health team that includes a diabetic educator, registered dietician and community health programs. Services include:

  • Routine, acute and chronic medical care
  • Medicare Annual Wellness Visits with a registered nurse
  • Telehealth appointments: Directions and details on accessing telehealth visits will be provided prior to a scheduled appointment; insurance and state restrictions may apply
  • Our Patient Portal is a free service that offers secure messaging, appointment requests, online billing, access to medical forms and review of personal health information
  • Preferred language care through electronic language services
  • Financial resources for patients can be found at this link or by calling 802-447-4500
  • SVMC's Patient Advocate can be reached at 802-442-4054 to discuss any concerns you have about your care that can't be resolved by the clinical practice team

A provider is on call for urgent (non-emergent) issues 24 hours a day. When the office is closed, an answering service will quickly relay your message to the provider on call. After you have made contact with the answering service, leave your phone line open so the on-call provider may return your call without delay. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

We're here for you. Please call us at 802-447-5519 if you have additional questions or would like to speak to our practice manager.
