Visits Resume at the CLR

This week, several residents and patients at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation received their first in-person visits from their friends and family members since before Thanksgiving.

“We have been accommodating electronic visits for families throughout the pandemic,” said Suzanne Anair, CLR’s administrator. “There is just nothing like being together in person, which is why we are so delighted to offer these very special reunions.”

Despite most residents and staff being fully vaccinated, the visits still come with some risks. The risks are being limited through adherence to guidelines the facility created to keep residents and their families safe.

  • Visitors must call to schedule their visit. They are limited to specific days and times.
  • Visitors and staff members must wear masks for the duration of the visit.
  • Maintain a distance of 6 feet.
  • Comply with the 15-minute visitation time limit.

“We look forward to a time when we can lift all of the restrictions and once again encourage frequent, close visits between residents and their families,” Anair said. “In the meantime, it is wonderful to share in the joy that families feel when they see each other again.”
