SVHC Employees Go Red for Women

BENNINGTON, VT—February 7, 2020—Employees at Southwestern Vermont Health Care gathered on Friday, February 7, 2020 for a photo to celebrate National Wear Red Day. The American Heart Association’s (AHA) observance and its Go Red for Women campaign raise awareness of heart health issues, especially in women.

In observation of AHA’s Heart Month, Southwestern Vermont Health Care will host its third annual Cooking with Your Heart event, an interactive cooking and tasting experience designed to help community members lessen the effects of heart disease on their lives.  The event will be held 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26 at Milne Public Library, 1095 Main Street, Williamstown, MA. The program is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited. Attendees are asked to RSVP via e-mail to ashley.jowett@svhealthcare.org or by calling 802-447-5019 by February 21.
