Naming Opportunities Cancer Center Expansion

Cancer is a complex disease that disrupts the lives of patients and their families in numerous ways. For the past 25 years, the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center has been a reassuring place to countless patients as they make innumerable care decisions and receive the lifesaving treatment they need. With the most modern technology—including a linear accelerator for radiation treatment, genetic counseling, and clinical trials—the Cancer Center’s dedicated teams of highly trained clinical professionals have built the culture of patient- and family-centered care for which we are known. But we are rapidly approaching maximum capacity for treatment and infusion services. Significant renovations will enable a much-needed expansion of medical oncology services.

TOTAL COST: $20 MILLION (estimated)

We have stayed current with technology and achieved great success on behalf of our patients, but we’ve completely outgrown our clinical space. The new Hoyt-Hunter Cancer Center will enhance the use of state-of-the-art innovations and advance clinical care, while putting the comfort of our patients and their families first.
