SVMC Welcomes PA Pamela Adams-Lackey

BENNINGTON, VT—November 19, 2019— Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) is pleased to welcome Pamela Adams-Lackey, PA-C, to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians.

Adams-Lackey received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Maine and a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Vermont. She has worked as a hospitalist physician assistant for Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT, since 2017. In addition, she worked as an internal medicine physician assistant at Springfield Health Center in Springfield, VT, and for Brattleboro Retreat in Brattleboro, VT.  She is certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.

SVMC’s Northshire Campus offers comprehensive medical care for the whole family. Its services include family medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, physical therapy, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, health promotion and wellness programs, on-site laboratory and x-ray services, and appointment-free care through Northshire ExpressCare.

Meet Emma Weiskopf, MD

Neurologist Emma Weiskopf, MD, joined the SVMC Neurology practice in March and is ready to see patients remotely using telemedicine and in person at her office. Dr. Weiskopf provides care for neurological problems, including seizures; headaches, including botox for migraines; and neuromuscular disease. She also provides comprehensive EMG/NCS services, a test for recording the electrical activity of muscles and nerves, which is used to diagnose such disorders as carpal tunnel.

Dr. Weiskopf received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, both in New York. She served as chief resident 2005 – 2006 before going on to a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at New York University Medical Center 2006 – 2007.

Dr. Weiskopf has been an attending neurologist at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts since 2008. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
