COVID-19 Vaccine Champions

Patients at our vaccine clinic shared with us why they got vaccinated. Their messages are ones of hope, love, family, community, and excitement about what they hope to do differently once they are fully vaccinated. Here are the stories from our vaccine champions!

Yashveer Patel of Bennington is looking forward to meeting his friends, once he is fully vaccinated. As he waited through the 15-minute observation after his shot, he anticipated his shot arm would be sore. “It hurts after a while, but it doesn’t hurt at the time.” He encourages everyone to get the vaccine. “Those who are scared of the vaccine should not be scared.” He added, “It feels really good,” emotionally, at least.
