BENNINGTON, VT—December 5, 2023—  Patients, staff and visitors who walk through the doors Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member of Dartmouth Health, often receive a warm greeting and helpful attention of Cooie Kenyon, SVMC’s Entry Point Ambassador.

Kenyon’s exceptional work was honored in November with a PETAL Award, an employee recognition for outstanding performance.

Kenyon was nominated by her peers and the award was presented by SVMC’s Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President for Patient Care Services Pamela Duchene, PhD, APRN.

“Cooie is remarkable,” said Duchene. “Her positive attitude, willingness to help and pride in her work sets an incredible standard for us all and makes our patients feel comfortable and welcomed.”
