Southwestern Vermont Health Care Honors Employees with 2018 Putnam Awards

BENNINGTON, VT—November 26, 2018— Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) leaders and staff gathered last month at the Mount Anthony Country Club to honor employees for their service to the organization’s mission. One award every year is presented for each of the organization’s five core values: quality, empathy, safety, teamwork, and stewardship. The employees who received the awards are noted standard bearers and role models within the organization.

The 2018 Putnam Award Honorees are:

  • Quality:  Linda Allard, LPN
  • Empathy: Cameron Herrington, RN
  • Dr. Richard Guerrero Patient Safety Award: Shannon Luscia
  • Teamwork: Kimberly Hathaway, RN
  • Stewardship: Jill Burke

The evening also honored those celebrating employment anniversaries. Many were honored for 10, 20, and 30 years of employment with SVHC. Sixteen employees were noted for 40 or more years of service, including Christine Bacon, Jill Bishop, David Brady, Joy Bull, Judy Carpenter, Joyce Caslin, Patricia Cummings, Mary Anne Cushing, Cheryl Jacobs, Gregory Jacobs, Laurie Lachant, Cynthia Long, Marie McAuliffe, Maydene Mort, Roberta Smith, Jane Wright, and Colleen Wyman.
