Joint Replacement Class

Those suffering from painful joints can register to attend this free class. It is appropriate for both patients who are scheduled for a joint replacement surgery and those trying to decide if a joint replacement is right for them. The Joint Replacement Class covers all of the information patients need to prepare their bodies for surgery and their homes for recovery. Instructors will address what patients can expect before, during, and after. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet many of the people they will see in the hospital, should they choose to have a joint replacement, and to meet other patients going through the same experience. 

The class is held at SVMC Orthopedics, 332 Dewey Street in Bennington. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring a support person along to the class. This "coach," usually a spouse, family member, or friend, can prepare along side the patient. For more information, call 802-442-6314.
