Volunteers are an integral part of the SVHC community. We’re grateful and fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers who give countless hours to SVHC each year to ensure that our patients and their families have an exceptional healthcare experience.

Positions Available:

Activities Companion

Kind and compassionate volunteers are needed to conduct activities with the CLR residents, like playing cards, puzzles, reading, visiting, assist residents organizing.

Gift Shop Cashier

Organized and customer-service-minded individuals are needed to sell gifts and maintain stock in the gift shop.

Lobby Ambassador

If you describe yourself as a people person, you may be suited to be an SVHC Lobby Ambassador. Ambassadors welcome and greet patients and visitors when they enter the facility, give directions and escort patients to their destination, if necessary.

Lobby Desk Volunteer

Friendly and professional Lobby Desk Volunteers assist visitors with information and transport patients. Hours are available on weekdays, weekends and in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Musicians

If you have musical talent, consider bringing your act to the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation. Residents love music and singing.

Personal Emergency Response Technician

PERS Volunteers work remotely in private homes within our service area to provide access to phone devices, so residents have immediate access, at the touch of a button, to help in an emergency.
