Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for pre-analytical specimen processing, collection and handling of blood and other clinical samples for testing.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required; with additional documented training in phlebotomy and clinical lab procedures preferred. Prior clinical lab, phlebotomy and/or customer service experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire. Valid state driver’s license required. Upon conditional offer of employment, must be able to successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record Check in accordance with SVHC insurance requirements. Phlebotomy Technician PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
