Andrea Malinowski is accustomed to leading the pack. As the owner of Optionz Health & Fitness and coach for Training for More, she has helped hundreds of Bennington-area residents to improve their health through fun and social exercise opportunities.
Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) and RiseVT are pleased to announce that she has taken on a new role as Bennington County program manager for RiseVT, a public health movement whose goal it is to help all residents embrace healthy lifestyles by making the healthy choice the easy choice.
Malinowski is a certified group fitness instructor, health coach and running coach of the local outdoor recreation group, Training for More. Through Training for More, she hosts 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon training, as well as group hiking, bike riding, and snowshoeing activities.
RiseVT is a collaboration working to help communities from all over Vermont embrace healthier lifestyles, improve the quality of life, and lower healthcare costs where people live, work, learn, and play. RiseVT aims to motivate, inspire, and work with individuals and families to help them make small improvements in their lives. The initiative was launched in June 2015 Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
