SVMC Northshire Welcomes New NP

BENNINGTON —May 31, 2015— Southwestern Vermont Medical Center has announced the appointment of Carlie Felion, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the SVMC Northshire Campus in Manchester Center.

“I am looking forward to working with the outstanding team at the SVMC Northshire Campus to deliver high-quality care to our patients and the Northshire community,” Felion said.

Felion earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Duke University in Durham, N.C., one of the top 10 family nurse practitioner programs in the country, according to US News & World Report. While at Duke, Felion pursued additional training in the management of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Felion is Board Certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center, and holds certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

“I enjoy helping people understand their health problems and how their medications and other treatments work, so they can take an active role in their care and make informed choices,” Felion added.

SVMC’s Northshire Campus offers comprehensive medical care for the whole family. Its services include pediatrics, obstetrics, health promotion and wellness programs, and on-site laboratory and x-ray services.

The office is located at 5957 Main Street in Manchester Center. Appointments are available 8 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturdays. Call 802-362-4440 for an appointment.
