Hospital Care
The doctors at the Northshire campus will refer you to the hospital of your choice. In most cases, they refer adult patients to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center's Hospitalist Program for hospital care. Hospitalists are specialists in caring for adults in the hospital. The SVMC hospitalists communicate regularly with the doctors at the Northshire Campus.
Northshire Campus doctors care for children who need hospitalization.
House calls
The doctors prefer to see patients in the office, where diagnostic and treatment facilities are available. On occasion, however, a house call may be appropriate for a housebound patient. If you feel a house call is necessary, please consult your doctor.
Prescription Renewals
Prescription renewals can be made at your next office visit. Or, phone our prescription line at (802) 362-7293, ext. 400. Once your physician has approved a renewal, he or she will call it in to the pharmacy of your choice. In general, renewal requests will not be called in until the next day, so please plan ahead.
