Admitting: What to Know Before You Come

No one enjoys going to the hospital. At SVMC, our goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

What to Expect
When you are admitted, we will ask you to fill out several forms. These include a consent form for admission and treatment and a financial form. The financial form allows us to bill your insurance carrier directly. Before you go to a room, we will place an identification band around your wrist.

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Comb or brush and non-electric shaving equipment
