SVHC Reschedules Healthy Cooking Class
BENNINGTON — The Wellness Connection of Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) has rescheduled the cooking class, “Simple Swaps for Healthy Holiday Meals” to Tuesday, Dec. 4. Join us to get cooking tips and eat tasty samples with SVHC Executive Chef Laura LaCroix. The class will be in the Conference Dining Room on the ground floor of Southwestern Vermont Medical Center from 5:30 to 7 p.m.,
Do you get nervous about the holidays because you’re afraid you’ll ruin your healthy eating habits? Are you making a resolution this January to eat more healthy foods no matter what the occasion? LaCroix will share some tasty celebration foods that don’t have to break the calorie bank. There’s no need to sacrifice taste or texture to eat healthier. You’ll learn how to alter your party favorites, keeping both your health and taste buds in mind.
