Holiday Eating Does NOT Have to Ruin Your Healthy Habits!
BENNINGTON — Do you get nervous about the upcoming holidays because you’re afraid you’ll ruin your healthy eating habits? Are you in a cycle of eating high-fat, rich food from November to January and then feeling guilty about it? Southwestern Vermont Health Care’s (SVHC) Wellness Connection can help!
Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 13, for the seminar, “Simple Swaps for Healthy Holiday Meals.” We’ll meet with SVHC Executive Chef Laura LaCroix at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in the Employee Cafeteria on the ground floor. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., LaCroix will share some tasty holiday menu items that don’t have to break the calorie bank.
You don’t have to sacrifice taste or texture to eat healthier. LaCroix will show you how to alter your holiday favorites, keeping both your health and taste buds in mind.
Register at svhealthcare.org/events or you can call (802) 447-5076 for more information. Preregistration is required and there is a $10 fee for this class to help cover the cost of food. Register now, as spaces fill up quickly!
