BENNINGTON — Monument Urology and SVMC Urology will offer a free screening that will help men determine their risk for prostate cancer. Screenings will be performed by Urologists Anthony Donaldson and Andrew Cowder and are for men ages 40-75 with a family history of prostate cancer or men ages 50-75 with no history.
Screenings will be done by appointment only on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at their offices in Suite 100 of the Medical Office Building at 140 Hospital Dr. in Bennington.
The screenings will include a PSA blood test and an exam which will help determine the risk for prostate cancer. The physicians will discuss your results and other important factors that need to be taken into account when speaking about prostate cancer risk, including family medical history.
