Bennington Cardiology Welcomes Dr. Anisman
BENNINGTON — “I knew right away that Bennington was the place for me and my family,” stated Steven D. Anisman, MD. Dr. Anisman is a cardiologist who recently joined Dr. Scott Rogge at Bennington Cardiology. “Bennington immediately felt like home to my family. We love the people and the way of life in this part of Vermont.”
Dr. Anisman received his medical degree from the University of Vermont. He completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Worcester Medical Center, both in Massachusetts. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
“I was very impressed with the approach of everyone I met when I first visited Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC),” stated Dr. Anisman. “From Dr. Rogge to our office staff to the hospital administrators and medical staff, everyone’s priority is to provide the best possible patient care.
“Joining a practice and a community with that culture already in place was very important to me as a doctor and as a person. It was very easy for me to decide to come to Bennington Cardiology and SVMC. My family and I have been very graciously welcomed.”
Dr. Anisman is also an accomplished musician, playing jazz & rock drums, and he enjoys metal sculpture and woodworking. “My family and I love the combination of cultural and outdoor opportunities the area has to offer. My wife Julie and I have really been enjoying exploring the area and taking walks with our two-year-old daughter Sophia.”
