BENNINGTON, VT—September 16, 2015—Crista Gannon of Wilmington, Vt. has joined the Board of Directors and the Deerfield Valley Regional Advisory Board. Willian Parent of Rowe, Mass. has joined the Deerfield Valley Regional Advisory Board.

Crista’s extensive marketing experience will be a tremendous asset, and she is a joy to work with,” said Leslie Keefe, SVHC’s vice president of corporate development. “And with years of business experience and deep roots at Mount Snow, Willian is a perfect fit for this important advisory role.”
Gannon, a marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience in solutions marketing at Unisys and IBM. Most recently she was responsible for strategy, messaging, and marketing plans in support of the IBM’s Global Government division.
“I am excited to join the Foundation Board mostly because it is such a worthwhile cause. The doctors and nurses, the whole health system does so much for our community,” Gannon said.
Gannon is currently co-owner of Happy Dog Farm LLC, in Wilmington, Vermont. She is vice chair of the Wilmington Trails Committee and a member of Deerfield Valley Rotary Club. She has volunteered with numerous community organizations.
Parent has been in Mount Snow’s human resources department for eight years, but her association with the mountain goes back decades.
“I was 12 when my mom started to work here,” Parent said. “So I have been around the area for many years.”
“The SVHC Foundation Board does so much worthwhile work here and at the hospital in Bennington,” Parent said. “The community relies on their work, so I am pleased to have been invited to join them.”
“We are delighted that both Crista and Willian have chosen to use their talents to support the Foundation’s efforts,” Keefe said.
