Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer/Architect is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful completion of capital projects through the effective management of monetary and human resources designated to and/or required for each capital project. This position develops and manages budgets, schedules and contracted manpower for each project and serves as a liaison between architects, contractors, engineers and SVHC staff during design, bidding, construction and occupancy.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in engineering or architecture field. Minimum of 5 years of previous project experience in the construction/project management field with 2 years healthcare experience preferred. Licensure at the Master level of one of the building trades or comparable certification is preferred. Must possess and maintain current valid drivers license and be insurable under SVHC’s vehicle insurance policy.
